Daron's spaceJanuary 09 Why wont the people complain? We are in an age were we the people have become so dependent on being slaves to things that other people make for us to make our lives easier. In the process of letting capitalism and greed run the country, and undoubtely the world, we have managed to totally screw up our environment. Don't take my word for it wait until 2 months from now. I feel we are going to be in for another big surprise that will even catch the most skeptical of the groups that refuse to admit that global warming exist. While we destroy the only planet that we live on, Our leaders are busy waging war on anyone that we don't feel are acting in our best interest(coincidentally always a nation of color). We fail to heed the lessons from the past, instead we continually repeat the same mistakes. I personally believe that everything that has happened before now was only a pretext of the times that we live in now. It seems that we the people have been lied to, tricked and continually being mislead by people that we supposedly have elected to look after our interest. Oh yes, I know our government is controlled by the same people that charges us for goods and services. Since the society at large has been dumbed down to caring more about sports and entertainment than what our government is doing (or selling off)in our name, the world has changed for the world and believe it or not I believe we have a big part in that fact. As an american I am ashamed that we have become sheep willing to give up everything that we have achieved for the fact that someone (I personally believe was an inside job) attacked us. I can't believe how easy is was to scare us into giving up our constitutional rights and freedoms. December 31 How New of a year will it be.Light bulb Now that it is the last day of the year, we should all think about the turning of events that has happened this year. Remember the things that paved the way for 2007. The year 2007 will be the year that will seal the course in the fate of this world. We have had time to fix our broken government, we did not, we had time to stop the war in Iraq if we really wanted to, and we did not stop the genocide in Sudan! So why should God bless America? I have seriously thought about that and I cannot think of a reason to bless any country as a whole over another. We the people of this country are half the blame because we allowed our government to get this far at totally manipulating facts in history just in order for it to fit the rhetoric that they, with the help of the media and their foot soldiers, feed us over the airwaves. They have placed their operatives into key positions in the government (including judgeships) so that if anything goes to any department within the government that may impede or incriminate them in anyway there will be someone there to cover them so that no one will be held accountable. The sad part about it is that a lot of the citizens are not interested enough about our government to even care. Even more so are the minority youth of our country. This group needs to be paying the most attention on what the people in power are doing! We as a democracy are in a sad and dark time in our history again except this time the whole world and environment are at stake. So why everyone is celebrating the New Year think about our responsibilities as stewards to this great earth. Even though I seriously believe the dye has already been cast!Clock |
